COACH BIO
Tracy Brawley
10U Head Coach, Manager
Second-year Silver Bullets (10U) head coach and manager Tracy Brawley has coached youth softball since 2018. From Astoria, Oregon, she is a life-long player and graduated from Astoria High School as a varsity letter recipient: 4 years in softball, 2 years in volleyball, 4 years of academic excellence recognition. Tracy also played 12U, 14U and 16U-level fastpitch (USSSA, ASA) for multiple North Coast-based club teams and competed in the 2000 USSSA Women’s Slowpitch National Tournament in Kingman, Arizona.
She attended Linfield University (prev. Linfield College) as a student athlete, completing two seasons of NCAA Division III softball and graduating with a BS in Mass Communication and Communication Arts.
Coaching Philosophy: Softball, like other competitive sports, is more than a game. It offers long-term understanding and practice of teamwork, commitment, resiliency, and self-confidence. A coach and parent, Tracy’s objective is to instill these qualities in young athletes not only to complement their growing softball skills, but also to benefit their journey off the field for years to come.
And, while we strive to compete, Tracy believes that – above all else: Softball should be fun!
